Some users have reported experiencing issues logging into Settlenet.org after a server migration this past weekend. This is the result of stale cookie information cached in your web browser. While a full resolution is in process, users can also fix the issue themselves by removing any SettleNet.org cookies from their browser settings.
Note: You can first try this link to log you out of the site completely. https://settlenet.org/en/force-logout/confirm
To do this:
- In Chrome: Copy "chrome://settings/siteData" into the browser address bar and go to the "All cookies and site data" page. Once on the page, search for cookies containing "settlenet.org" and remove them.
- In Firefox: Copy "about:preferences#privacy" into the browser address bar and go to the "Browser Privacy" page. Scroll down to "Cookies and Site Data" and select "Manage Data". Search for cookies containing "settlenet.org" and remove them.
- In any other browser: locate the browser cookie settings and remove any that refer to "settlenet.org"
Alternatively, using an incognito/private window or different web browser altogether will work and sidestep the issue, but the instructions above to remove Settlenet.org cookies are recommended for a more long-term solution.
What are "cookies"?
